The Modern-Day Dog Moms

Do It Yourself

Lavenberry Coconana Pupsicles

I’m not ready to give Summer up yet! It may be early October and everyone is in love with the Fall colors… But NO! There’s a high of 72 today! Give me that warm sunshine and an ice cold beverage! That’s the inspiration behind this DIY.

Your pups are going to go CRAZY over these delicious and healthy pupsicles! Each ingredient was selected specifically for it’s health benefit. And guess what? There’s a human version so you can enjoy a healthy smoothie/shake at the same time! Cheers to that!

LAVENBERRY COCONANA PUPSICLES (for dogs)

Ingredients:

•1 cup raw goat’s milk (full of probiotics and enzymes for digestive support, immune booster, anti-inflammatory, anti-mucous)

•½ large, organic banana (good source of potassium, manganese, Vitamins B6 and C, biotin, and copper)

•¼ cup organic blueberries (excellent source of antioxidants, selenium, zinc, and iron. They are also high in Vitamins C, E, A, and B complex.)

•½ teaspoon local, raw honey (excellent digestive aid, eases allergies)

•2 cups full fat coconut milk (contains lauric, which strengthens the immune system by fighting off viruses)

•4–6 drops Lavender (anti-inflammatory, calming, aids in allergies, conjunctivitis, tumors, vertigo)

Directions:

•Using a blender, blend all ingredients together until smooth.

•Divide evenly into ice tray and freeze overnight.

•Serve outside because these get messy!

Just like a young child, I get excited when things have glitter or puppies come up to me in a crowded room. I enjoy writing and I love writing for Gal's Best Friend. If you look up "dog obsessed" in the dictionary, my photo will surely be there.
