Every year in July we throw the pups a birthday pawty! This year Pharrell turned 4 on the 1st, Rosie turned 3 on the 9th and we just made Rumbas birthday the 4th….. Well, because it just seemed fitting. Have a dog party in NYC is actually very normal, everyone does it and it’s the “cool” thing to do! Some of the most popular places for dog PAWtys are d.b.a the dog-friendly bar in the East Village and the newly opened dog-friendly cafe Boris and Horton also in the East Village! We decided to have the pups party at our apartment this year, well because Rosie doesn’t do well in strange places with a lot of people. So we had some of our favorite people and pups over to our place to play, eat and well…. Drink some rose!
When starting to plan this litter party for the crew I knew I wanted to be sure to use PAWty in a box! They are your one stop shop for everything you need for your fur-babies party. The best thing about this amazing company is that they have a theme for everyone, that includes everything you need such as party hats, invites, pupcake holders, goodies bags, banners, bow ties and more! If you are planning on having a party for you pup anytime soon and you know you are going to need some goods, make sure to check them out!
Having a party for your dogs, means you have to have a cake for them as well. A few years ago, I tried my best to make a cake for their party and as i am sure it was good to eat, it was not pretty to eat! So this year we had Dog Cakes for Dogs make them a personalized cake and to say I was blow aways with how F*(%king cute it was would be a total understatement. The best thing about these cakes besides that my dogs faces was on it is that there is no sugar, wheat, corn, soy or preservatives so I felts totally comfortable letting them go to town on it, and they LOVED it! Not only do they make cakes, but they also make cupcakes in the shape of your dogs face!!! I know, I know, freaking amazing, check them out here!
Being that dog mom that had a party for her dogs, well you kinda have to live up to #crazydoglady come party day, so I was for sure going to wear something that showed my love for my crew and I got some many complaints on this shirt, I might have also worn it out to brunch in the city as well this week! Anyways, its a custom shirt for DogLabz! You send them a photo of your dog or in my case dogs and the put their fun effects and twist on it and turn it into a one of a kind fashion statement!
Thank you so much to Natalie Siebers for coming and shooting some amazing photos as you always do and thanks to Rebel Dawg for this amazing birthday set that will be launching on their new site at the end of the summer!
